Lamu is a place like no other, a peaceful tropical island where life is lived at it’s own relaxed rhythm, but a place whose history is as mysterious and fascinating as the winding streets of it’s medieval stone town.
If you are really adventurous and don't have much money, you can take public transport (bus) but I would advise against it, unless you are really on a budget, are not in a hurry, and don't mind heat, crowds, etc. Best way is just to fly.
