Cyclades Islands Greece Travel
Santorini and Mykonos are the most popular islands of Cyclades Greece and the top destinations in Greece generally. Other famous islands include Paros, Naxos, Ios and Sifnos. The rest of the islands are less popular but equally beautiful.
During high season, the ferries offer many connections between all the Cyclades Islands. In winter however (low season starts in November), there aren’t many boats. If you want to reach the Cyclades from Central Greece, you can travel from the ports of Piraeus or Rafina. Both are located close to Athens.

Rugged, sun-drenched outcrops of rock, anchored in azure seas and liberally peppered with snow-white villages and blue-domed churches, this is Greece straight from central casting, with stellar archaeological sites and dozens of postcard-worthy beaches.
Most of the Cyclades islands are easily reachable by plane or ferry. The two main airports in the Cyclades are Santorini airport and Mykonos airport, the two most popular Greek islands. Both these airports host domestic flights from Athens and Thessaloniki and also charter flights from abroad in summer. Very busy is also the airport of Paros.
