You’ll find 17th-century, Italian-style buildings and an interesting old cathedral here. However, many travelers are drawn to Ciudadela’s lively nightlife and fiestas, including the Processo dels Tres Tocs on January 17 and a celebration of Sant Joan, the town’s patron saint, on June 23–24.

Ciutadella The historic city of Ciutadella in located at the extreme west coast of Menorca. It used to be the capital of culture and commerce in Menorca, and although it has not been this for a long while, it is still a very attractive city, with a wonderful heritage and real appeal.

Ciutadella, Menorca, Spain. Perhaps it’s the beautiful glow of the early evening sun. Perhaps it’s the relaxing mood of the end of a weekend. Or perhaps it is simply the architecture. There is something about Ciutadella at the moment, though, that has drawn me in.
