Latest Update: Summary – Typhoon Mitag is forecast to reach Taiwan from the afternoon of 30 September and will bring hazardous sea and land conditions. The Taiwanese administration has called a Typhoon day in most parts of Northern and Central Taiwan which means that local authorities, schools and most businesses will be closed. Please follow the advice of the local authorities and monitor alerts issued by the Central Weather Bureau. The British Office Taipei will be closed on 30 September.
