Indonesia Travel Advisory On June 29, 2018
Summary: On 28 June 2018 Mount Agung in east Bali erupted, emitting gas and ash which has resulted in the closure of Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport from 0300 to 1900 on 29 June 2018. Other regional airports may also be affected by the ash cloud and flights may be cancelled or delayed. You should contact your airline before travelling. The alert level for Mount Agung remains at level 3 and there is a 4 kilometre exclusion zone around the crater. If you are in the area you should follow the advice of the local authorities.
